Spanish Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica)

Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is a national honor society. La Sociedad helps recognize students who have a high achievement in the Spanish language, and helps encourage them to continue their interest in it.
Activities include an annual induction ceremony, field trips, 10 required community service hours per year, tutoring for others needing help in Spanish classes, and multi-subject tutoring for students whose first language is Spanish
Members may also be eligible for scholarships through the national network. Many members of La Sociedad have continued their Spanish studies in college, and some have gone on to a related career.
