News Blog Category - News The MHS Senate's 25th annual Senior Citizens Prom is coming up! This year's theme is The Great Gatsby, so get ready to channel that Roaring '20s spirit and dance the evening away (or just come have fun with your friends)!

The event, set for 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Marion High School, includes dinner, DJ, dancing, bingo (with prizes), and even a photographer to take portraits of the attendees. This special event is free to all senior citizens in Marion.

Attendees should park on the east side of MHS, near the Freshman Center, which has a handicapped-accessible entrance on the east side of the building.

The Senate is seeking new donors to continue to make this great event possible. If you or your organization or business would like to be a sponsor, contact MHS teacher and Senate sponsor Angela Sellers at 664-9051 ext. 2112 or email asellers@marion.k12.in.us. You can be a table sponsor for $25, or an event patron for $100 — or set your own donation level! All sponsors are recognized in the Prom Program distributed to attendees, and signs are also placed at tables for table sponsors and patrons. (Click here to download a donor information sheet.)
