You are welcome at Marion High School. Below is some information to assist you when you visit.
Building entry: All visitors must enter Marion High School through the main entrance at the front of the building.
Visitor badges/visitor sticker required: For the safety of all children and staff, visitors (including parents) are required to stop at the main office upon arrival to sign-in. Visitors will then be given a badge/visitor sticker to wear. This is to let staff members know that you have checked in with the main office.
Parents or visitors not wearing a badge/visitor sticker will be brought back to the main office to do so. Please remember to return to the main office to sign out and return the badge/visitor sticker before you leave.
Any parent who refuses to sign in or to wear a badge/visitor sticker will be removed from school property.
Meeting with a teacher or class visit: Parents wanting to meet with their child’s teacher or visit the child’s classroom must call the office and set an appointment at least 24 hours in advance. This is a requirement written into the teacher’s contract that the administration is required to honor.
