NEED HELP WITH CLASSWORK? TUTORING IS AVAILABLE:

GENERAL REMINDERS:

  • Small groups to support mental health are available. If you’re interested in joining, stop by Student Services or contact Ms. Bishop or Mrs. Gay for more information.

  • Off-campus lunch for seniors is an option only on Thursdays, and only for seniors who have met the requirements and have turned in a permission slip. You can pick up a permission slip in Student Services, Rooms 1-36, or Room 2-43.

  • Seniors: If you need help with college applications, stop by the library during your lunch period on Tuesdays to see Mrs. Myers.

  • Morning entry doors reminder: All MHS students who walk to school or are dropped off by car (or drive themselves) must enter at Door 8 (on the back side of building, near the cafeteria; off of the east stadium lot). Car riders and walkers are NOT to enter at Door 19, that is for bus riders only, nor at Door 16. There will be no entry at Door 1 for students until 8:45 a.m. (after the tardy bell has rung). Students should NOT be dropped off at the front of the building unless they are coming in late.

  • Dress code reminder: No pajama pants, blankets, hats, or hoods during the school day.

  • Seniors who have been approved for off-campus lunch should exit and re-enter at Door 16.

  • Student athletes: Turn all physicals into the Athletic Office. Do NOT turn physicals into the front office, your coach, or other personnel.

  • All students attending home boys basketball games must sit in the student section or upstairs. Students cannot sit behind the team. This includes players on other basketball teams.

  • MHS students get in free with student ID to MHS home games, but there is no free entry for MHS students to McCulloch Junior High games. The cost is $2 per student, cash only.

  • All students must follow proper procedures when leaving during the school day. Your parent/guardian must call you out. You must sign out. You must use Door 1. Leaving the building without permission or without using proper procedures will result in out-of-school suspension.

  • Off-campus senior lunch information: You must have 90% attendance, no Fs, no major referrals, Box 2 graduation requirement form turned in, and a senior lunch permission slip turned in to qualify for off-campus lunch. You can pick up a Box 2 form and a permission slip from Ms. Johnson in Student Services. Please turn Box 2 forms and permission slips in to qualify for off-campus senior lunch.

  • The Key Club Care Closet is available to help those in need. It has items such as clothing, shoes, food, menstrual hygiene products, and school supplies such as book bags and more. Reach out to your counselor for any questions or if you’re in need of any items.

  • No DoorDash or other food deliveries are permitted.

  • For those of you who drive to school: Students are not allowed to park in the front circle or in the staff and visitor parking lot in front of the auditorium.
