- Black History Club members that are going on the college tour to Oklahoma on spring break must meet for an important meeting on Thursday, March 12 in Room 2-34 and a parent meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at 5 p.m. in the MHS cafeteria. Contact club sponsor Mrs. Owensby with questions.
- Best Buddies Club will meet at 8 a.m. March 12 in Room 1-27.
- The next Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica meeting is set for March 12. All members should plan to attend either at 8 a.m. or immediately after school in Sra. Saathoff's room. The meeting will be 20 minutes long. If you are coming to the morning meeting, come in Door 1. See Señora Saathoff with questions, or contact her here.

- Did you know: Marion Community Schools' exclusive partnership program the CSA Arts Academy offers exciting opportunities for Marion High School students! Other opportunities through CSA include various classes and the CSA Theatre compANY, a pre-professional theatre arts training program.

JROTC is hosting a clothing drive from through April 10 to support families in our community and local veterans. All donations can be dropped off in the main office and the JROTC room. Thank you for helping us make a difference.

- Off-campus lunch for seniors is an option only on Thursdays, and only for seniors who have met the requirements and have turned in a permission slip. You can pick up a permission slip in Student Services, Rooms 1-36, or Room 2-43.
- Seniors: If you need help with college applications, stop by the library during your lunch period on Tuesdays to see Mrs. Myers.

GENERAL REMINDERS:
- Morning entry doors reminder: All MHS students who walk to school or are dropped off by car (or drive themselves) must enter at Door 8 (on the back side of building, near the cafeteria; off of the east stadium lot). Car riders and walkers are NOT to enter at Door 19, that is for bus riders only, nor at Door 16. There will be no entry at Door 1 for students until 8:45 a.m. (after the tardy bell has rung). Students should NOT be dropped off at the front of the building unless they are coming in late.
- Dress code reminder: No pajama pants, blankets, hats, or hoods during the school day.
- Seniors who have been approved for off-campus lunch should exit and re-enter at Door 16.
- Student athletes: Turn all physicals into the Athletic Office. Do NOT turn physicals into the front office, your coach, or other personnel.
- All students attending home boys basketball games must sit in the student section or upstairs. Students cannot sit behind the team. This includes players on other basketball teams.
- MHS students get in free with student ID to MHS home games, but there is no free entry for MHS students to McCulloch Junior High games. The cost is $2 per student, cash only.
- All students must follow proper procedures when leaving during the school day. Your parent/guardian must call you out. You must sign out. You must use Door 1. Leaving the building without permission or without using proper procedures will result in out-of-school suspension.
- Off-campus senior lunch information: You must have 90% attendance, no Fs, no major referrals, Box 2 graduation requirement form turned in, and a senior lunch permission slip turned in to qualify for off-campus lunch. You can pick up a Box 2 form and a permission slip from Ms. Johnson in Student Services. Please turn Box 2 forms and permission slips in to qualify for off-campus senior lunch.
- The Key Club Care Closet is available to help those in need. It has items such as clothing, shoes, food, menstrual hygiene products, and school supplies such as book bags and more. Reach out to your counselor for any questions or if you’re in need of any items.
ON SCHOOL DAYS DURING THE YEAR:

Students are not to be in the building before 8:30 a.m. or after 4:05 p.m. unless you are under the supervision of a teacher or coach.

No DoorDash or other food deliveries are permitted.

For those of you who drive to school: Students are not allowed to park in the front circle or in the staff and visitor parking lot in front of the auditorium.

Hats and hoods pulled up are not allowed in the school building. Please remove when you enter the school.

Any student carrying prescription medications, inhalers, or epinephrine pens, please go to the nurse’s office for permission forms.

If you are having a problem with someone picking on you, be smart and use the resources available. Please come to the office and see Mr. Blackmon, our conflict resolution officer.

Students are not to use the school’s elevators unless you have been pre-approved by the school’s nurse or the main office due to an injury.
