Recently, Marion High School's jazz bands earned awards from the Indiana State School Music Association’s district jazz competitions.
Two instrumental ensembles competed March 6 at Kokomo High School.
- Jazz 1 earned a Silver rating in Group I (the most difficult division).
- Jazz 2 earned a Gold rating in Group III.
