Juniors:

NOTE: The SAT is required by the state of Indiana, and juniors must take the SAT to be eligible to purchase MHS prom tickets.

SAT will be administered beginning at 8:45 a.m. in the upper floor of Building 2. Testing will conclude at approximately noon, followed by lunch (optional). Any junior who normally arrives later than 8:45 a.m. or leaves earlier than noon must make plans to be here for this full time period on testing day.

Please bring your charged iPad and charger.

Please bring a calculator if you want to use your own on the SAT. (It cannot be an internet-connected device.) Otherwise, a calculator is built into the digital test.

Cell phones and smart watches are not permitted at any time during the testing or break time. Your test will be invalidated if you are caught with any electronic device, other than your testing device. We will collect phones and smart watches prior to the test.

Juniors may be excused from afternoon classes if they have transportation home. Any junior leaving at this time must leave immediately after testing or immediately after A lunch. Any junior staying must attend their classes for periods 4-7. Any junior leaving at a different time must follow normal call-out / sign-out procedures.

(Note: HYPE Academy students will test at HYPE. Online students will receive a call regarding testing arrangements.)

Freshmen/sophomores:

All MHS 9th- and 10th-grade students will participate in special activities during the testing period. Your regular class schedule will resume for periods 4-7 (on the altered bell schedule for the day, listed at the top of this post).
