Congratulations to Marion High School wrestlers Hickson Love and Shaun Caldwell, who are sectional champions!
They and five of their teammates earned spots at the upcoming boys wrestling regional. (The top four place winners in each weight class at the Oak Hill sectional advanced.)
Those advancing are:
- Hickson Love, MHS junior, sectional champ
- Shaun Caldwell, senior, sectional champ
- Ben Bevans, freshman
- Josh McCray, senior
- Carter Moreno, sophomore
- Adrian Parrish, sophomore
- Dominick Scott, senior
Regional competition starts at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 7 in Peru. Admission is $10; children age 5 and younger admitted free. A ticket link will be available here soon.
The top four place winners in each weight class will advance to the semi-state tournament.
