Tickets are now on sale for CSA Theatre compANY's upcoming production of Peter and the Starcatcher, a magical and imaginative prequel to Peter Pan. This Tony Award-winning play will take the main stage at the F. Ritchie Walton Performing Arts Center at Marion High School at 7 p.m. May 9 and 10 and at 2 p.m. May 11.
Based on the best-selling novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson, and brought to the stage by Rick Elice with music by Wayne Barker, Peter and the Starcatcher tells the story of a nameless orphan boy and his shipmate friends as they discover a mysterious substance called “starstuff” — a powerful element that grants wishes. Along the way, they encounter treacherous pirates, a courageous girl named Molly, and the flamboyantly villainous Black Stache in a wildly creative journey filled with humor, heart, and high-seas adventure.
Tickets for the performances can be purchased at www.csa-marion.com/tickets or at Marion Community School of the Arts, 305 S. Adams Street, Marion, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Tickets will be available at the door beginning one hour before showtime. Ticket prices increase $2 at the door. Doors open for seating 30 minutes before showtime.
