All-City Art Show to feature Marion students’ art, music, drama on May 10-11

The All-City Art Show features work from Marion students at all grade levels. The show will be open to the public from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11.

Visitors will enter through the Walton Performing Arts Center, where some of the artwork will be displayed, and continue on into the art hallway to view more displays. 
 
On Friday, May 10, the MHS Drama Club will also be presenting the play Take Your Medicine at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater. (Click for more information.)
 
Saturday, May 11, will also include:
  • Interactive art experiences
  • Performances by Marion Community Schools music ensembles as follows:
  • 11 a.m.: combined band world premiere of “Elliott’s Song”, Walton Center main stage
  • Noon: Justice Intermediate School band, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 12:30 p.m.: McCulloch Junior High jazz band, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 1 p.m.: McCulloch Junior High jazz choir, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 1:30 p.m.: Circle the State With Song choir, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 2 p.m.: McCulloch Junior High honors choir, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 2:30 p.m.: Allen and Riverview Elementary choir, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 3 p.m.: MHS choir senior spotlights, Walton Center Little Theater
  • 6:30 p.m. MHS band awards and spring concert, Walton Center main stage
