Course selection for next school year starts soon!

Attention freshmen, sophomores and juniors (and their parents/guardians):

It is hard to believe it is already time for course selection for the 2024-25 school year! Please read below to see what is coming up in the next few weeks!

Mid-December: Classroom-level presentations with grade-level school counselor to discuss course selection options* for next year, graduation pathway requirements, and typical schedules for the upcoming year.

Students will receive a course selection form to take home and review with a parent/guardian. Students should have their form completed so they are prepared to meet with their counselor starting in January!

January 8th – mid February: Grade-level school counselors will meet with students individually to review course selections for the 2024-25 school year and graduation pathway requirements.

Students will NOT receive an individual appointment time, as counselors will meet with students as they are present in class and ready to discuss course options.

Counselors are assigned to the following grade levels:

  • Current 9th-graders (Class of 2027): Mr. Brandon Vermilion, [email protected],  765-664-9051 ext. 7024
  • Current 10th-graders (Class of 2026): Mrs. Kelly Myers, [email protected], 765-664-9051 ext. 7021
  • Current 11th-graders (Class of 2025): Ms. Tonya Bishop, [email protected], 765-664-9051 ext. 7022

Feel free to contact Marion High School Student Services at 765-664-9051 ext. 7004 with any additional questions or concerns.

We are excited to continue partnering with our families to support our students here at MHS!
