MHS Homecoming Week is here! Get ready to show off your school spirit, your Giant Pride!
There are also many events open to the community. (Those are denoted with *.)
Here's a look at the activities planned at Marion High School and in the community:
Monday, Sept. 25
- Dress-up theme: Barbie and Ken
Tuesday, Sept. 26
- Dress-up theme: Decades Day (freshmen, '80s; sophomores, '70s; juniors, 2000s; seniors, '90s)
Wednesday, Sept. 27
- Dress-up theme: Western Day
Thursday, Sept. 28
- Dress-up theme: Class Color Day (freshman, white; sophomores, green; juniors, pink; seniors, blue)
- Powder Puff football game: during school day at Dick Lootens Stadium
Friday, Sept. 29
- Dress-up theme: Purple and Gold Day
- Pep Rally: during school day at Dick Lootens Stadium
- * MHS Night of Giants alumni honors ceremony: 5 p.m. at Walton Performing Arts Center; free entry. Click here for more details.
- * Marion High School Alumni Association tailgate: Food trucks, music, friends! Starts at 6 p.m. in the stadium lot.
- * Homecoming football game: Giants host Muncie Central, 7:30 p.m. at Dick Lootens Stadium. MHS students get in free with student ID. For all others, single game tickets are $7 (preschoolers get in free). All students PK-8 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Homecoming Dance: Tickets will be pre-sold. Students should watch for information on the announcements. Dance starts after the game and runs until 11:45 p.m.
