The 2023-24 season at the F. Ritchie Walton Performing Arts Center at Marion High School is already packed with great shows!
CSA’S Civic Theatre presents James and the Giant Peach, Aug. 11-13
Based on the book James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, this whimsical musical is the creation of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul also known for the hits of Dear Evan Hanson, The Greatest Showman, and LaLa Land. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that results in a tremendous peach and launches a journey of enormous proportions. Don’t miss this fun show on the main stage at the Walton, presented by CSA’s Civic Theatre. Show times are 7 p.m. Aug. 11-12 and 2 p.m. Aug. 13. Tickets are available now online or at the door.
