Students will have the opportunity to talk with a representative from Upward Bound during their lunch period.

Upward Bound is a college prep program provides educational, social, and cultural experiences to qualifying local high school students. Qualifying Marion High School students in grades 9 through 11 are invited to apply for Upward Bound at IWU. Participation in Upward Bound does not require an intent to attend IWU.

Qualifications include income guidelines, first generation college student status (meaning no parent has a 4-year college degree), and/or high risk of academic failure (meaning you did not pass your state standardized math or English test or you have a high school GPA below 2.5).
