SENIORS: FAFSA lab set for 2/1

Marion High School's FAFSA Help Lab, in partnership with Project Leadership, is set for Thursday, Feb, 1, in the MHS Media Center (library).

Seniors will visit the library during English class, and their parents/guardians are welcome to come at that time, or after school from 4 to 7 p.m., to get help with filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Parents should enter at Door 1 (the main MHS front door) and will need to check in with the office first if attending during school hours.

The FAFSA is the only way to access federal and state financial aid so it is extremely important that you complete it on time to keep your options open for continuing education after high school! Most U.S. citizens and eligible noncitizens (including U.S. nationals and permanent residents, as well as some other designated resident categories) are eligible for financial aid for college or career school.

Please bring all 2022 tax documents for the student and parents/guardians. Students and parents/guardians with Social Security Numbers should have those on hand as well. Seniors will be given additional information as to what to bring.

If you have questions, please see your counselor in Student Services. Click for counselor contact info.
