News Blog Category - News The Marion High School summer session gives students the chance to recover credits needed to graduate, but it also allows students to get ahead on core classes and gain flexibility in their schedule moving forward.

Summer session classes include the core classes of Algebra I and English 10 (which will feature traditional in-class instruction), as well as virtual learning opportunities for any course required for graduation.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided free to all summer session students, and transportation is also provided.

Summer session will run Monday through Thursday from June 5  to June 29. There are two time options to choose from:
  • 8 to 11 a.m.
  • 11:30 to 2:30 p.m.
If you wish to attend either (or both), click here for the registration form (or pick one up in Student Services) to complete and turn back in as soon as possible.

NOTE: Summer participation in JROTC, Choir, Band, and other athletics may count toward your PE credit if a waiver is completed and turned in to Student Services, along with the registration form above. Click here for the PE Waiver form.

Breakfast and lunch will be served free at the following times for MHS summer session students:
  • Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.
  • Lunch: 11 a.m.
Please see your guidance counselor if you have questions.
